Zombies: A Record of the Year of Infection (2009, Roff)

In the style of “28 Days Later”, this is a nicely illustrated diary or account of a zombie infection that was found about a year after the outbreak. The illustrations are dramatic and gory. I recommend readers to not eat before, during or after reading this book. It is quite graphic and morbidly interesting. This book is a definite must for zombiephiles and my friend tells me it would be a great source for planning zombie-related role-playing games.

The storyline is quite formulaic but nevertheless interesting because of the little twists, turns and encounters of the diarist. Overall, an okay read but it’s definitely not for everyone!
