Zombie short films spread faster than the plague its self as the Zombies infect pop culture.
That being said, there is a lot of crap out there. Now days, anyone with a hand held camera thinks they can make a quality Zombie video. This being said, there are some quality shorts out there. Be it Recent Viral Spoofs of popular shows like The Walking Dead or amazingly simple yet complex films (like the one we are about to share below), one must be diligent if they wish to see the truly quality Zombie vids that the internet has to offer!
Think of these rare gems as the flesh covered bone in the corpse stack. They DO exist.
Sometimes it is hard to find the good ones due to bizarre or corny titles like “Zombie in a Penguin Suit” (ZIPS). ZIPS is an amazing film. The amazing score by Marc Mellits is simple yet moving as the insane intensity of the action unfolding before your eyes provides a deeply moving and beautiful contrast to what rings in your ears. The world that the geniuses that made this film is a stark reflection of the world we already live in as best summed up by one of the comments:
“We are born confused, thrust into chaos. As we stumble along to the tune of melancholy, we find our own paths. There are many close calls and friends’ help along the way but for the most part our survival is by chance. But the world passes us by and death surrounds us. We find ourselves alone, bloodied, limping to the sirens of a new age. Under the merciless grip of extinction we look out over an ocean, thinking of better days, decrepit and tired, a tragedy wrapped inside a joke.” -IntricationZ

I got bored because The Walking Dead went on a “mid season” break so I youtubed Zombie vids and there really are a lot of good ones out there. You just have to dig deep! This is pretty decent but come one the penguin suit is just cracking me up. I cant take it seriously. Also, did he really wipe the blood off his face after eating? I highly doubt it. Maekup was pretty good. I cant believe more people arent obsessed with zombies like myself. I finally decided to join a zombie website!
