Police have been slow to provide any information on what many are calling a Zombie Attack that took place yesterday in Miami, Fl as a naked man attempted to eat the face of another in broad day light.
After nearly a full day, Miami Police have issued a few statements regarding the attack and have asked for help from anyone who may have witnessed the attacks.
Miami Police spokesman Javier Ortiz has issued the following statements over the last twenty-four hours:
“As with all active investigations, there are many details that cannot be discussed until we have gathered all the facts. Detectives are still trying to gather details and urging any passersby who might have seen something to contact them.”
“Based on the information provided, our Miami police officer is a hero and saved a life.”
An article from the Miami Herald stated:
Sergeant Altarr Williams, supervisor of Miami police’s Homicide Unit, said a man doesn’t have to be armed to be dangerous.
“There are other ways to injure people,” Williams said. “Some people know martial arts, others are very strong and can kill you with their hands.”
Investigators believe the victim may have been homeless and laying down when the crazed man pounced.
Police theorize the attacker might have been suffering from “cocaine psychosis,” a drug-induced craze that bakes the body internally and often leads the affected to strip naked to try and cool off.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Miami police homicide unit at 305-603-6350.
Many across the nation continue to speculate that there is much more to the story. For example, why were BOTH men naked? How was the attacker able to take shots and still keep eating? Is this actually a Zombie Attack and thus possibly the beginning of the much feared/anticipated Zombie Apocalypse?

I love zombies myself, BUT let looks at this florda case closer, i do my homework an dont just jump to conclusions! Anyone who has read Max Brooks’s THE ZOMBIE SURVIVAL GUIDE, He himself even says to look at things for more than how they APPEAR! There are so many possiblities, 1. YES, drugs COULD HAVE been involved, an if so with one being completly naked an the other partially could have been a couple things in itself, again the theory that he was on bath salts an tried to rape the homeless guy first then in a fit of rage started eatting him,OR they both could have been doing drugs an were trying to strip to cool down an being druged induced the other could have tried to eat the flesh of the other to get more layers of him to help him try to cool down more, as reported many times what LSD, PCP, ETC. can do to someone. Lets see what the autopsy comes back as, IF TRUTHFULL at all! 2. They government testing new viruses an just covering them up! Look around how much more cannibal things have been going on. There has been many times government have used their own unknowning citizens as guinea pigs, you think ALL the new diseases just appear outta no where like that an that many in such a short time frame, Once in awhile yes viruses an things can evolve but not things just appearing outta no where! And of course anything outta normal was just DRUG INDUCED, BS!!! 3. He was a voodoo zombie! voodoo doctors have so much training with mixing things than what televison leads people to beleave, an he could have been at ones biddings! 4. AN THE MOST IMPORTANT, no matter what, things like this are happening more an more, an best way to be safe is to prepare as is its the ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE, is coming either way, wheather if its drug, virus, induced!!!!!! I watched a video in which the witness says he was eating his face then spitting it to waste. He did hand motions as if he was spitting it out. If he was a zombie wouldn’t he be eating the flesh? Or was he told to say that? It’s still crazy and I think the world is going to shi#.
I Think the druggies have finally found the designer chemical of the month, ie bath salts. The zombie outbreak is definitely going to be caused by designer drugs whose sole purpose is to poke holes in your brain and make you think that it’s really ok to chew someone’s face off.
It says in numerous articles that both men were naked but in the photo provided the alleged victim apparently still has a shirt on, just no pants so he wasn’t fully nude just yet. Maybe suggesting that he too had been on the drugs and began to shed his clothes as well?
Perhaps both men were on drugs? or knew each other and had been hanging out together before he went into a rage?
The whole “naked man pouncing on a presumably homeless man laying down” wouldn’t explain why he was fully clothed up top but not on bottom unless the attacker had forced him to, or self removed the article of clothing but then it doesn’t explain why he would do that and begin chewing at his face.
There’s just something about this that too me doesn’t connect.
because if you saw a naked man comming at you, you would run. but if you were homeless and sleeping outdoors in plain view, why would you be sleepinging with a long sleeve shirt and no undergarments?
neither one makes any sence too me. and I can’t seem to get over that little detail.
I wonder if we will get any more updates, I hope so. I’ve read that bath salts a lot of times are used to give you a sence of euphoria which is why they used to be sold at head shops world wide so this causing this type of behavior is really unusual. I also believe that high dosages of this can be traceable in urine up to 24 hrs (not small does but high according to web md) which is supposedly the theory so I’ll be interested to see how it all unfolds
And I do want to say Good job to the citizen that tried to stop it, what a horrible sight and yet he still stopped to make an effort to get him to stop and then saught help and to Miami PD for doing what was necessary to help that man. I hope the victim is able to recover and whatever caused this maddness be it drug or what is able to be stopped. And I can’t imagine what his ex wife and family is going through so I hope we get some more answers so they can be at peace and heal.
There was a similar incident in California where a father ripped out and ate the eyeballs of his son. He was on PCP.
i would like to point out that noone said a real life zombie is going to feed on brains. it could be that the reality of what we are going to be faced with are just crazy people that want to cause injury and will bite. maybe they wont like certain parts of the body. i mean i dont eat a whole chicken. im not sympathetic to the “zombie” he wants to take drugs that his fault. and i do believe the picture up there is a mugshot. so hes a criminal too?

Apparently this was the fourth case like this. Where the people affected just happened to act like zombies? I wonder if we will be given information on the other 3 incidents involving this drug.
Specifically:
In the other three cases involving this “drug”, what happened to the Affected? Were they killed too or did they recover?
If the Affected were killed, what happened to the bodies?
They said growling and chewing. Did the Affected bite anyone? And if so, did the bite victims magically become affected by the “drug”?
What are the names of the other 3 Affected and what are the names and statuses of any bite victims?

if just getting high once or twice on bath salts(bad lsd) causes you to eat face then can you imagine what would happen if the guy was like a tweaker…
I’m a Police Officer and bath salts are a big up & coming problem. Does that mean that we can expect more cannabalism?
No I don’t think that would be the case all in all. What can be said for now the bath salt or any of those synthetic drug can have a huge affect on the way we think. That was a nice kid and if this was the result of drugs then the system has full control to stop it. and if they don’t then that leaves the opportunity for a terrorist to use this in some way that might become a problem. The point is that on its own the odds are low but with some help and intent you might have a bigger problem on your hand then we all realize.
Just a thought if it could happen once Now we know there is something out there that can mimic Zombie behavior. The odds of a zombie apocalypses has just doubled.
cbs news also did and update saying that this is one of four similar happens with the same type of people one was a man hit by a cab and tazed by the poilce who was also naked and roared out in rage before being gunned down…..

so, it was just some guy on drugs, not a zombie…
what is a zombie? used to be creatures of the night along with werewolves and vampires. Now they’re a result of a virus in most media. I’m fairly certain if there is a drug that makes you act like a zombie, that’s a drug that turns you into a zombie, even if only temporary.
Wrong Zombies were never creatures of the night. they first started out as souless victims of a whitch doctor. With only one goal to follow a single command by their master.

I think that this was a druged out guy but I cant help but wonder why someone would try to eat another persons face even on drugs. I have tried many drugs before and even got in a fight with a trash bag one time, but never wanted to eat someone. This guy may have tried to rape him first based on the pics i have seen.
