Zombies rule the USA, except for a small group of scientists and military personnel who reside in an underground bunker in Florida. The scientists are using the undead in gruesome experiments; much to the chagrin of the military. Finally the military finds that their men have been used in the scientists’ experiments, and banish the scientists to the caves that house the Living Dead. Soon, Zombies do what Zombies do best.

The first time I saw that movie, Captain Rhodes made me SO angry I was getting pissed at the tv screen. And Bob, and the professor aw man, that was THE ultimate zombie movie.

this film by far is the best of the bunch.george a romero made a blinder.i have been watching zombie films for over 25 years.if youve seen dawn of the dead and want more watch this film.howard sherman (bub) acting as the main zombie is the best ive ever seen,you actually want him to eat humans…..wish they explored his character more.long live day of the dead.
Bub rules!!!!!! Best part of the movie was when that prick Captain Rhodes gets torn to pieces by a horde of zombies. I hated that guy.
