The mall as a fortress. Zombie movies will never be the same.
Ana, played by Sarah Polley, decides that her neighborhood is going downhill after her kid, and the rest of the neighborhood, turn into murderous Zombies. After meeting up with some other “survivors”, Ana eventually ends up at the local mall with a bunch of others. They spend the days generally safe, but slowly running out of time and resources. They hatch a plan, and make their attempt at survival.
This was a great movie. Action packed. The effects were what one would expect in a Romero Zombie movie. The storyline was very good. The suspense lasted from beginning to end. The acting was good.
My favorite part is when the survivors are on the mall roof shooting wandering Zombies to pass the time, trying to shoot the one the others would describe.

Dawn of the Dead is a great movie. It features the best cast members that have good chemistry. I find the 2004 version to be far better than Romero’s 70′s edition.
I really like this remake, even though I generally don’t care for fast moving zombies. Sprinting infected I can understand, sprinting zombies ah no go. Other then that great pace, great action for any Zombie enthusiast.
yes, but the little girl is ana’s neighbour, not her daughter.
