About Zombies Cant Love

Being a mother in one of the most diverse and populated cities in the world I can't help but wonder what I would do in a zombie outbreak. This isn't the movies where guns appear from thin air and a hero can fight off a thousand undead. No, I try to keep a more realistic outlook on things and come up with real world scenarios on my zombie blog. "Zombies Can't Love" is a blog dedicated to my ongoing zombie story and anything else zombie related that I feel the need to talk about. I am also a contributing writer for the Zombie Zone News website. Which is another great source for all things undead and zombified. Contact me by email.

Just Released: ‘Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dreadfully Ever After’

ppz-review-150

Pride Prejudice and Zombies: Dreadfully Ever After This book marks the final installment in the Pride and Prejudice and Zombies series of books. I personally have read the first one, skipped the second and I thoroughly enjoyed  this latest book by “authors name”. Even without reading the second book I was easily able to pick up the story and enjoy where and what the characters experienced. This book is a full emersion experience into another period in time infested with the undead who want nothing more than to eat the life source from your body and snack on … [Read more...]

Everyday Zombie Lovers: An Interview Series

everyday-zombies-150

Everyday Zombie Lovers According to the United Nations the world population reached 6 billion on October 12 1999.  The growing rate for the population is around 1.15% and it had doubled (100%) within 40 years from 1959. That means by 2050 the human population of earth could be somewhere around 9.2 billion people. That makes for an awful lot of contenders who could possibly survive the zombie apocalypse but it also means there would be even more undead searching for food. Similar to how the book "World War Z" by Max Brooks gave us an anthology of interviews with … [Read more...]

Part zombie, part voodoo! Desperate to end her husband’s domestic abuse, a young woman seeks asylum from a local voodoo priestess.  When warned that her husband (Khotan) may “change” if given a special potion, the abused wife is relieved.  But waking up in bed next to a zombie isn’t exactly the transformation she was hoping for.  Her once violent husband becomes the leader of a zombie uprising, terrorizing, and then converting the townsfolk into un-dead assassins.  Clearly, some things are far worse than death. Patton Oswalt is an outstanding stand up comedian whose observational dark humor can help you realize how messed up real life situations are with a laugh. He's also well known for his role on the television show " The King of Queens" and for lending his voice to a delightful animated rat the Pixar film "Ratatouille". Now he will also be known as a published writer after the release of his first book "Zombie Spaceship Wasteland: A Book By Patton Oswalt". “Zombie Terrors” A Graphic Novel

zombie-terrors-150

When I was out christmas shopping a wonderful graphic novel caught my eye. "Zombie Terrors: Vol. 1 An Anthology of the Undead" was just screaming for me to pick it up. The cover shows a rather pretty, busty brunette who has her left shoulder bit open by a zombie while he's pulling her shirt off. This wonderful anthology of 15 short illustrated stories reminds me of the old "Tales from the Crypt" pulp comics. There are even pages that would make great pin-up style zombie posters. Just tear them out and frame! This was a great read without having to be too committed. … [Read more...]

Zombies Can’t Love: Newest Contributing Writer for ZZN

150-zombies-cant-love

I love when people assume I'm just another guy with a horror fetish and a penchant for zombies. In reality I'm a mom and photographer from New York City who realizes that she's living in one of the worst possible places for a zombie outbreak. A city of eight million people means that if all hell were to break loose, well, I better have a damn good plan. My blog, zombiescantlove.blogspot.com, started as an outlet for all the zombie stories I imagined from photographs I took. Pink smoke rising out of a smoke stack in New Jersey, a boarded up house in Asbury Park or a … [Read more...]
